The John Watts Boat Fishing Competition will be held on Saturday 29 August 2026 at Draycote Water.
John Watts was a founder member of the FDG (Membership No. 2) and it was his idea to have a fishing event to promote friendship and camaraderie with a touch of competition. Past participants will attest to it being a friendly and enjoyable day. Traditionally an inter-Branch event, it is now also open to individuals and all members of the FDG are welcome to take part.
